I'm sorry you're quitting this blog, but I hope you at least see this comment. I read a couple of your other posts about Kenya. I sponsor an LDP student, there, who has been attending the Kenyatta University in Nairobi. I don't know--and am willing to bet CI-US doesn't know--whether she and her family have been directly affected. I know I will receive a phone call, if and when CI knows and if she has been affected...but with Compassion Kenya not able to identify all of the children who have been affected, I can only wait.... It isn't easy!
With so much of the violence in and around Nairobi, tho', I don't know how she could not have been affected. Is the university still operating? Assuming that she is okay, is she still able to attend classes? Okay, I know you don't have answers, either, but thanks for letting me vent, a little!
