One Week Left: A Write a Letter Update

Seven days remain to write your sponsored child a letter and be qualified to earn your child's family a $150 gift.

As of right now, the gift is $50. I've received lots of visits to the contest page, and I'm watching the page's popularity increasing each day, but so far only three people have written their children: Tom, Tina, and Christy.

And Tom isn't going to win. He's Compassion's Internet Program Marketing Manager, and he's footing the bill for the Uganda Blog Trip, which I'm not going on. Grrr!

If I get two more entries, the family gift will grow to $60. Seven more entries will raise the gift to $70.

Is there going to be a rush of last minute writing or was this thing a flop? I'd be asking myself if I wasted my time, but I kind of already answered that question. It wasn't pointless, but it hasn't flown like I'd hoped.
